Reviews
Food was good, service ok, nice atmosfere and great selection of wine. They recommended lobster with pasta and was perfect. €€€€
If you can get a booking at this place I highly recommend it. I was fortunate to walk by on a Sunday and there was a table available. The service is professional, first class, very attentive. Their wine list is extensive and has some fantastic options. The food is incredibly fresh and cooked, prepared to perfection. Blue fin tuna, veal tartare to start with more tuna for mains and white rabbit pasta. Mama Mia! One of the best restaurants in Turin. Well worth it.
Ristorante Casa Fiore, Turin, Italy
The first course was the 30 yolk thin pasta with rabbit and olive ragu. Hearty and light, it was sublime!
It was very very good. I mean the sort of pasta that you eat in ever smaller portions to make it last. It was matched with a Piemonte nebbolio which was recommended by the head waiter. A young wine but light with a full flavour despite being 2 years old.
The secondo was veal cooked in vermouth. The veal was tender and the sauce had an elegant hint of sharpness from the vermouth. It was matched with a Barolo with 7 years age which was perfect.
Torino has surprised me with its calmness, perspective of high quality and such tasty food!
I’ve been talked into a Barolo which will be is a ‘step up’. The first sip confirms I’ve gone to a new altitude in terms of quality, I just hope the price increases proportionately and doesn’t run ahead!!!
To cap it off off, they have served four types of chocolate including one with chili and another with hazelnut as well as white and normal. This is to go with a 2011 grappa.!
Overall the food and the service has been of a very high standard.
We ate in their romantic outdoor heated enclosed patio
The food was sensational
Shrimp cocktail best ever
Veal filet so tender and delicious
Cacio e Pepe ravioli the most delicious ever eaten
Pepino our server amazing
It was the best dinner we had in the 2 weeks we were in Torino
Amazing experience overall. Service was great, food lived up to the standards and the waiters spoke English, Italian and French.
They do smile(first time in Italy I've seen it) and are very careful.
They ask when you sit down if you have any allergies.
Good selection of wines.
The restaurant was recommended by our hotel next door.
Good Italian food, pasta was the star of the meal, and so was the eggplant appetizer. Not very impressed with the veal in wine, a bit too chewy and the sauce was too sweet.
The desert was pretty good, mandarin sorbet was spot on.
The service was mediocre, likely due to staff shortages and English language barrier.
Romantic gastronomic restaurant with excellent dishes that reflect the piemontese cuisine and a huge liste of wines.
Would have been nice to have a small selection of better wines available per glass. Among the two options I was given it felt like a very average wine and did not live up to the rest of the experience.
However, great experience - w'll be back.
Great piedmontese food and wine. Plenty of choice.
